Bangon Pilipinas!

Typhoon Yolanda (Typhoon Haiyan) smashed the whole Visayas region and left almost nothing to our kababayans. It is indeed devastating to see that our fellow countrymen don't have anything to eat, anywhere to live in and worse, lost everything, including their loved ones.
Personally, I can't endure the amount of bad news I'm seeing - photos from the internet, TV reports, write-ups and the like. It stings. It breaks my heart. With the simple help that I made possible, I'm wishing that we could all recover from this challenge. Indeed, God gives his hardest test to the strongest people; and that's us, Filipinos.
We all know that we're moving too slow. We all know that this government can't do more about it and that's the thing we need to accept and face; instead of us ranting about the stuff that wouldn't have any answer at all even been asked way too many times. We thank the whole world for giving us more strength and lending their hands as we face this challenge. We all felt the love from the world for giving us help especially in times that we need it the most.
Sad to say, this country is corrupt and it gives the lame feel to all of us. A week before this typhoon came to destroy, we've seen the alleged mastermind of the Pork Barrel scam Janet Napoles to insult the Filipinos' intelligence, telling us that she doesn't even know anything about it. She and other senators are facing plunder and other illegal charges for that matter. It was insulting and sad at the same time. Why are these people have the best of everything and feeling greedy about it while others are suffering? Life isn't fair as we know it but it's us who make chances and take it to be better. Why are we giving her special treatment then? She won't speak up and protection isn't the thing she needs because according to her she doesn't know anything.
Referring to the amount of money they took from this Republic, aligning with what happened in Visayas- from the 7.2 magnitude earthquake to the disastrous typhoon Yolanda, we could be more prepared and we could extend a helping hand quickly if these demons didn't cheat, corrupt and rob the Filipinos' money. It is sad to see and to hear that a lot of our kababayans are dying because the help that they need can't come through for the reason that this government is acting slow and for the fact that we lack resources. We lack resources! Stupid! We HAD the resources! There are just demons who claimed everything for their personal use and now that we are all seeing these people dying, we can't do anything about it? Or worse, claim the 'help' that's not even yours to give at the very first place to take the credit. Seriously, you (selected) politicians need to seek a doctor's help; a doctor that can cure minds or perhaps there's no cure at all but sincerity and willingness to change for the better, for this country, for the countrymen.
Let us just remind you that you're there in your position/s right now because the people voted for you. They trusted you to be the instrument of change for this country but sad to say you guys are not doing any better. Your promises are just promises, are just words that you made to fool our countrymen. Aren't you ashamed?
This is a test for all of us and we should trust and help each other. We can't afford to see another person dying because of hunger. We can't afford to hear another victim fighting for his/her life just because we can't extend our help. The strongest typhoon met the strongest race, the Filipinos. The hardest battles are given to the strongest soldiers, the Filipinos.
We are indeed one country. We will survive no matter how tough the battle gets. Bangon Pilipinas!
"If we can fight, fight. Let's help each other. Be prepared for anything. Our war has just begun." quoted from World War Z. :)
