Felicity on a Silent Mode

I do believe that happiness is an effective vitamin. Some of us seek for it, others already have it and for the majority it's part of the so called life. In everything that we do, we find happiness even without noticing and labeling it. No one can buy happiness, no one can steal it nor fake it, happiness is built-in and happiness is a choice.

A tribute to the one that made people happy even without uttering words and spilling punchlines or jokes. The one in a silent mode that made everyone laugh in a loud tone. None other than, Charlie Chaplin.

Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889 in Walworth London, United Kingdom. He was an English comic actor, film director and composer best-known for his work during the silent-film era. Chaplin was one of the most creative and influential personalities of the silent film-era. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked him the 10th Greatest Male Screen Legend of All Time.

In the late 1960's, Chaplin's robust health began to slowly fail. After the completion of his final film A Countless form Hong Kong, and more immediately after he received his Academy Award in 1972, by 1977 he had a hard time communicating and was already using a wheelchair, and by then Chaplin died in his sleep in Switzerland on a Christmas Day.

Give thanks thee! Cheers to the one who made people happy! He's definitely legendary!

Happy 122nd birthday Charlie Chaplin!
